چکیده

Resin-based dental materials are popular restorative especially in direct adhesive restoration because of the excellent mechanical and esthetic properties. Toward realization minimally invasive procedures, composite resin has become main treatment for defects. In addition, caries-affected dentin close to pulp, conservation remineralization been advocated save living pulp. However, resin–dentin interface can be destabilized by various factors, enzymatic degradation collagen fibrils within hybrid layer polymer hydrolysis. Furthermore, resin-based materials, marginal gap remains a major problem that lead occurrence secondary caries. To address these issues, research efforts have focused on mineral-depleted hard tissues using remineralizing bioactive substances. this review, we first described agents with discussed recent advances enamel or remineralization. Finally, examined current challenges prospects emerging materials. This work aims provide theoretical foundation future development agents.

A new classification of resin-based aesthetic adhesive materials.

The purpose of this article is to illustrate a new classification of resin based aesthetic materials laying on the characterization of their matrix and their filler morphology. Four samples per material have been prepared for SEM evaluation. Each sample has been treated with chloroform to dissolve its matrix in order to evidence the filler morphology. A general schema of four different matrix s...
